The concept of the future is a path full of uncertainty due to the current pandemic period. While some of us embrace the future with positive thoughts, some of us drag negative thoughts after us. This period, when we were confined to our homes, pushed us to explore different alternatives. The collection created under the name of ‘The Feeling from Paper’ was inspired by the paper textile artist Daniella Woolf.
The basic idea of the concept; collages created by the magazines, which is one of the materials that we can evaluate at home, with the feelings that given to the designer about Covid-19. In addition, the patterns prepared with the weaving technique from handcrafted papers are integrated into the designs by simulating the fabric texture as an alternative to the printing technique. The prepared manipulations were used as design details and the integrity of the clothes was ensured.
The designs prepared in accordance with the Spring/ Summer 2022 season consist of 3 main colors with the fabrics supplied by Sun Tekstil. The designs, which are made functional with the take-off sleeves, allow the layers of the clothing to be shortened, lengthened or completely removed as desired. Designs that appeal to the age of 20 and above; were designed for young women who feel fun and free to express themselves, and who also embrace raising awareness for a sustainable future.
