The inspiration of the collection is “Magnum Opus”, a Latin mystical alchemy term. This term means great work, masterpiece; it is also the philosopher's stone in alchemy. The philosopher's stone means the pursuit of immortality and transformation, and this stone has stages of process. These are Nigredo, Albedo and Rubedo; that is death, rebirth and mystical maturity. There are three looks in the collection. The first represents death, Nigredo. Earth-coloured fabrics were chosen because its element is earth; Since the subject is death, two separate large pieces are designed to cover the body. The second design is mystical maturity, namely Rubedo. A unisex design was created as this term represents masculine and feminine in alchemy. The third design is rebirth, Albedo. Since it is rebirth themed, a patchwork shorts is designed using leftover pieces from the previous two designs. Since this term represents mostly women in alchemy, its upper part is designed as a long vest with feminine lines. Contrary to the first design with the use of green color, like a seed that grows from the ground; depicted as a reborn sprout.
