“Re-value” is a collection designed for the Spring/Summer 2022 season. The designer aimed to find a starting point by considering the effect of the current time. Accordingly, the designer wanted to emphasize the value of an everyday material. The collection was created based on craft and values. In this direction, the material whose value and design idea was wanted to be reflected in the collection was "jute fiber". By choosing this material, the designer aimed to address the functionality of the material in a sustainable approach.
The designer, who takes the sustainable fashion approach with the "hand and craft" method, has made a pattern work on jute fabric. In addition, she aimed to provide integrity in his collection by using environmentally friendly fabrics and recyclable metal materials. Neoprene fabrics and jute fiber were used together in the sustainability story. Thus, while aiming to emphasize the designs from a more experimental point of view, the lining technique was applied in the sections where jute fiber is used. The designer aimed to encourage people to dress comfortably during the pandemic period in modern life; therefore, she generally used wide patterns in her designs. The target audience of this collection is individuals aged 25-35 with more sophisticated tastes.
