Due to the pandemic, the cities are going through a big transformation. In this project, which focuses on the hybrid typology in İzmir Alsancak, it is aimed to respond to the various post-pandemic needs of the region by taking this transformation into consideration. There are mobility hub, shopping areas, conference halls, social areas such as library, mediathek, and post-pandemic study areas in the project. The project aims to solve some problems at the urban scale as well. By creating a pedestrian axis between Alsancak Port and the train station, it is aimed to reintroduce the unused port to the city. The traffic problem in the region is solved by opening the area between the station and the land for pedestrianization and taking the city traffic underground.
