There are many predictions about future even though it is not possible to know what exactly is going to happen. In my Museum for the Future, located in Izmir/Balçova, future is imagined as a world with water shortages. Therefore, the museum aims to teach visitors about the beauty and the importance of water and also shows them how our world would look without it. To do that, it uses a central circulation path which connects exhibition halls about present with the ones about future. As the visitors follow the path, they’ll witness the transition from the present to future.
