Alsancak, one of the most important and crowded points of Izmir, has a high density of traffic and insufficient areas in terms of socializing and green spaces. The goal is to provide transportation and socialization services by increasing the interaction to important points such as Kordon and Port. Therefore, masses are separated by a bridge connection to create a strong axis and reduce the dense circulation on the ground level. It was also aimed to turn main street into a large public space by taking vehicle access to underground while prevent both noise and visual pollution.
