Becky and Boo is a children's book for 5-6 year olds who are afraid of the dark and monsters. Its purpose is for children to learn to overcome their fears by making them empathise. In order to achieve this, age group, story and visual language were selected according to my research. The story chosen accordingly is about a Becky, who is afraid of the dark and monsters, encounters Boo, who is as cowardly as she is, and they overcome their fears by understanding each other
