Arcanum is a movie about a woman called Althea, who lives a very unhealthy life in a world which has no plants. One day, she finds her healer grandmother’s notebook which includes all information about herbs. She was called Lucrezia and lived in 1600s. After finding notebook, Althea starts to heal herself and publishes books for healing other people. In this project, the building is her house and a learning centre that guests can visit and learn how to use herbs. In this building, transitions and connections emphasized to represent the journey of information from past to present. Also, plants, leaves and trees are integrated into the design elements, which shows the importance of nature in our lives.
